OKay, I'm getting very frustrated...

pspguy Feb 27, 2004 07:30 PM

I'm taking away the sand, which is supposed to be a good thing. Now with my rheostat all the way on high I still can't get a temp on the repti-carpet over 79 degrees. What am I doing wrong? I'm completely stumped.

That is weird....i used repticarpet on my portable under tank heaters and in one of my tanks a while ago. I was always able to get the temps up right where they were supposed to be. Sorry i can't help.

As soon as I put the Bed-A-Beast down and covered the temp sensor with the hide and BAB it started climbing. Sometimes I think my brain goes on lunch break and doesn't tell me.

Thats ok, i'm having a bit of a doofus time myself. This stupid thing has popped up and i'm a total mess. I tell ya i'm starting to think i'm going absolutely nuts lol. My week was supposed to be soooooooooooo productive and now its Friday and still i have nothing accomplished.....i wanted to finish off the girls tank only to break one of the hides and have to fix it, then i wanted to build new crested gecko cages, but nope didn't get to that. This plus all of the painting and house renovations...you could say i put to much on my plate but and i probably did.....so many projects and nothing is finished.
Grrrrrrrrr lol, i'm so overwelmed.....and now this stupid thing.

Oh i'm sorry for ranting.....but ya know, it helped. At least i got Zeek into another tank so i can work on his....hopefully tomorrow LOL

under tank heater and a low watt light bulb over the warm side is good enough.
