Croc skink snout injury

silver_arctic1 Feb 27, 2004 08:26 PM

I recently got a WC pair of croc skinks and the skin at the front of their snout seemed to have been rubbed off, like they bumped into a glass wall one too many times. What can I do to help them heal (if it can be healed)?

Thanks,
Evan

If it's actually raw (it'll be pink/white) you can put neosporin or betadine on it with a q-tip. Also try to keep the water clean, which will be hard if yours are anything like mine.

I'll try that. Thanks a lot!

Good luck with the little guys, I'm glad to see other people working with them.
