LEO NOT eating too good...

Neo_TheOne Feb 27, 2004 09:00 PM

I have had my leo for about 2 years in may. He was a good eater when he came home but went off eating for a while and didnt eat much at all for about 6 months and slowly started to eat. I feed him every second day mealworms, but he hardly eats any and i have tried crickets cause i thought he would like hunting but he never goes for them... anyways he will eat a few mealies but nothing else, is this okay. He has had fecal exams done and is looking fine and his tail quite fat... temps are good and i assumed this was part of the leo trait when they suddenly dont eat for no reason other than not wanting to. anyways thanks a lot bye.

That sounds exactly like mine. Everything is great in his enclosure, temps, hides, supplements, everything. He just doesn't eat much. Mine weighs about 60g with a fat tail, so I'm not to worried, would just like him to eat better.

Thanks
