My female is laying her eggs soon...

beardielover13 Feb 27, 2004 09:52 PM

I am so excited. The babies are German Giant/Snow/Normal X Tiger/Sandfire/Normal and I am so excited. She layed between 25 and 27 eggs her first season which was last year for a total of 103 eggs. I have heard that's a lot for a first season female, is it? Thanks.

Yea it can be.. it's the german giant in her that's helping with that. They are very prolific. We have a snow dragon with the german giant in there and her first season she threw six clutches and about 150 eggs and all but three hatched.. so i'd say she's doing well just keep an eye on her and make sure you give her lots of calcium to bounce back good. congrats about the eggs!
