Update on "Heating for 25 gallon terrarium"

I have an incandescent hood for a ten gallon tank that I could place over the screen of my 25 gallon to heat it. Unfortunatly, that would leave no room for fluorescent light.

I've considered two other options: installing a small spotlight fixture over the tank or purchasing those small halogen basking lights from daygecko.com.

or you could buy a flourescent/incandescent combo hoood. Those have 1 18 or 20 inch flourescent and 2 incandescents rated to like 150 watts.
