i bought a baby timor monitor the other day and i was wondering about the size of crickets that would be right for him. can a baby handle large?

could a baby handle a pinkie? its been hard finding any information on these guys. and any offered would be a great help.

How large is he/she. Most likely he will be fine on large crickets but there are always excepsions. When he sarts to grow you might want to start raising oyur own food, they can be great eaters. I recomend feeding and breeding roaches. In the end it is so much easier, cleaner, and cheaper. I raise them and they will eat a ton. Pinkies are ussually fine but you don't want to give him to many. You do not want an over weight baby on your hand. Make sure to keep the temp. high and the humidity at around 60 or so. They need lots of room to grow and stretch. UVB lights are a must, and don't forget calcium. If oyu need anything else just ask.
