Mine has had no problems eating f/t except for when he went off feed for about six weeks and wouldn't even eat live. I toad scented one and he went right for it. Now he is back to unscented f/t and ate about 20 minutes ago.
Just my experience.

Personnally, I have 2.5 Western Hognose and every one of them takes F/T no problem. As a rule, I never offer them a toad scented mouse after they are consistantly eating unscented. It's kinda like a kick in your ass because there natural diet is mostly toads. You don't want to go backwords. Just my opinion.

I had been reading all the past posts on this forum regarding feeding problems, but was sometimes unable to tell what species of hognose was being talked about.

I hope to get one of these soon and wanted to know what I was getting into first.

Thanks!
