Best place for blood dragons?

Beardie_Matt Feb 28, 2004 02:45 PM

What breeder, in your opinion breeds the best blood dragons? I want one with a good personality(will tame though), true red not dark orange and hearty. I was going for Chris Allen but I am nott going to pay the high prices somebody with one would want and my second choice was Fire and Ice, but I want to know who you think is best.
Thanks,
Matt

If you want a real Blood, go to Dragons den. He is the originator of the Blood line.

Kevin's got a few different groups of bloods that he breeds. His most recently available were from a more orange group, that's the group that my baby is from. He told me that soon he should have hatchlings from his best group ready to go, so I'm sure they will be stunning, and they'll probably be available any day now. You should email him and let him know what you are looking for. I am very pleased with the baby I got from him, very healthy, spirited, and colorful.

Kevin produces wonderful animals, I got 5 from him. But if you think Chris' prices are high then you are going to look a long time to find colorful quality red BDs for less. BTW Chris has taken a break from the "breeding" business at this time.
Dragons Den "Bloods" (his name for reds) are not always blood red. All of mine are orange. so dont think that the name guarantees you a red animal. Kevin is a great guy all around and he will do the best he can to get you the animal you want but there are no guaranteed on color from anyone I know of in this business. So if you want a "Blood" then you go to Dragons Den, that's his line. If you want a red dragon then there are more choices.

Good luck

I know that Chris has stopped selling for now, I don't think his prices are to high(darn my procastination). It's just the people that I would buy from would probably want alot of money since they are GREAT dragons and he's gone out of business for now. I have kept forgeting to e-mail him about the bloods (I'm also interested in a GG) to see about having them sexed because I have been planning to try some small breeding and then maybe go into a bigger business.
Thanks to all of you!
Matt
