Fluval 404 question?

ebubbles0o0 Feb 28, 2004 03:17 PM

Hey, I've had my fluval 404 for about 5 months now, and it has been great, except that the water is starting to get a little foggy now. I'm pretty sure that this means that i need to get new media, but i don't really know what to get or where to get it from. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks -Beth

I'm pretty sure you can get all the replacement media at Petsmart or Petco... or if you dont want to go there, order it online at Bigalsonline.com.

There are other brands of filter media that you can find from places like Petsmart and Petco, that are in larger bulk containers, and much cheaper than name brand Fluval products. I have been using bulk replacement stuff and putting it in the meshy media bags that are reusable. It has so far been much cheaper than purchasing on Fluval media, and has been working just fine. I have a 2 404's and it's been great!
