...on this topic more for my edification. Or anyone else having some thoughts toward the topic, please join in. I have not yet come accross any articles that would elaborate more toward a better understanding on how to use humidifiers safely. I am taking measures now to cause the floor of the cage to remain dryer, however, what other precautions should we be concerned with? You mentioned, Dr. Pollak, that you wouldn't direct mist into the cage directly but just to have the unit on in the general vicinity to raise humidity and Lele you mentioned that the cool mist is not a good thing blowing directly onto the Cham. I was originally thinking of using PVC pipe to pipe the mist into the cage at the top and let it flow downwards, but now I'm in need of more specific info on whether this is actually going to be a hazard. How is URI contracted? What is the difference between the water beads collected on the leaves of branches for hydration of the animal, and water collected at the floor of the cage in relation to animal health? I don't understand yet well enough the difference. Thank you for your assistence again. Maggie
