At what size should I give him a bigger enclosure?

Domo is now 8.75" long. He's in a 20 gallon. He goes crazy every day trying to run around in there. I've got a 50 gallon waiting for him, but I don't want to overwhelm him. My boyfriend thinks he needs the bigger cage now. He sure is restless.

he should be ok in a bigger tank. Just remember that this new home may stress him a bit. If you move his furnature from the old 20 it should help. If you are feeding crix, make sure they dont get lost in that big tank.
