Greetings,
We have a vet appointment, but in our rural area it is Monday before we can see him. Our female is lethargic, and kind of in a state of shock. She is about three years old (not too sure-we rescued her). We have heated the cage to 90 degrees. No trauma or injury that we can see. It got a little too cold for a couple of nights when we were gone. First symptoms-regurgitated food, did not have a stool for two days and looked a little bloated. We soaked her in warm water and she passed the stool. It does not look like impaction. She is fat, not anorexic. It looks respiratory as she has bubbles in her mouth.
We do not want to wait. We have Baytril which we have used on tortoises. We have the dosage figured out by wieght. What do you think?
Thanks
