Ok, so I go to get worms and crickets for the crew. Of course, I have to check out the reptiles while there. So I go over and see two juvie Beardies in a display 8 inches long, ten inches deep. There was one normal female that was climbing the glass. There was also a male there. Not sure what morph he is but he sure is pretty. Anyway, I look a little closer and see that the colorful male is pretty thin... So I call one of the workers over (I've dealt with Him before and He's VERY knowleagable!)and ask him about them. I'm hooked. So I ask to use a phone and he hands me his cell phone! LOL Gotta love him. Call my mom up, ask her to come over. She comes and sees him. Tell her his story. My Buddy says He'll arrange me getting 20% off his price (which was thought to be 79.99). So Mom says "You'll be paying me back". I agree. Well, we get up to the register and he rings up 149.99! Both mom and me say No way. Since They said He was 79.99, they had to give him to me for that price. So with the 20% off, I ended up getting him for 59. MAN! I love screwing Pet stores!! LOL He's in shed right now. Once He sheds, I'll post pics. Will need your help guessing what morph he is.... Anyway, I'm now forbidden to go into any pet stores alone.... LOL

you don't have to go looking for trouble, It will come to you. I was in a resteraunt with my family 500 miles from home. The manager saw I was wearing a reptile shirt and started talking to me. Seems he was breeding monitors. He also ran a wolf rescue center and needed to find homes for all of them as he was going to be moving out of town...

Let me tell you how much bonding goes on during a 10 hour drive with 2 adults, 2 kids and 2 wolves(hybrids) in a minivan.

Nice dogs

They are beautiful. My first Beardie was a rescue and so are my 2 dogs and so is a flock of 8 Canaries that are in a outside Avairy. Rescue,s are the best pets. But I do not envy you the car ride. Enjoy every animal you get.

I'm a dog person. Those two make me smile! Thanks for sharing them.

I feel that I rescued these guys since they would otherwise have probably been put down. I had them fixed and would not breed them nor do I advocate wolf hybrid breeding. They are special animals, not wolves and certainly not dogs. There definately needs to be a lot more education about these animals.

I commend you for giving these animals a good home. Yes they are a problem, there are way too many who continue to be bred for the wrong reasons, which is why so many are being put to sleep. The fact that you opened your home to give those two guys a chance at a good life I think is wonderful.
