Anyone know of any reptile/amphibian books that have like lists of species?Like a picture, a name, scientific name, size and info about the animal?I was looking to buy a book similiar to this.I have one like it already but it is animals and goes into mammals, fish, insects which I am not too interested in.I noticed that pet stores' have them for their own personal use but not for sale.

thanks

I have found a few at pet stores, but they are always big, hardcover and expensive (upwards of $45.00.) One good one was the Atlas of Reptiles and Amphibians. You could always look on e-bay or some other site to maybe save money.

check your local book stores. We have a Waldenbooks here which I think is a national chain in Malls so you night wanna check it out. Its been a while but I bought some Audubon Society Field guides to take with me when I went herpin and they are pretty much what your looking for, they were useful to me.
