you only have to dechlorinate it if you use tap water. Spring water and bottled water is fine.

I've never heard that in the year and a half I've had my leo's... I have read every article, care sheet and book about leo's I've been able to find in addition to regularly perusing this site...

I only use tap water for my leo's .. .should I change to bottled water?

Is the chlorine level in tap water high enough to really cause a potential hazard?

I'm no gecko expert, but I dechlorinate water for everything non-human. Chlorine levels vary from city to city, but imo, it's better not to take any risks.

Chlorine is easy to remove all you have to do is leave it in a bottle with the top open for 24 hours, it is the chloramines that you need to be careful of. In my area the water people use a lot of both.
