hey all........was just wonderin what other kinds of lizarsa everyone keeps???

i was thinkin about expanding my collection....provided my parents don't flip out.....there already mad bout the new chineese rat i'm gettin...anyways i was thinkin about maybe some other kind of desert lizzard that likes warm temps.....and isn't too horribly hard to keep....i don't rellay want to get back into ordering crixs but if it was for sumtin really kool i may start again....just wonderin what everyone's experiences are....not that u can beat a bearded dragon cause there the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nigerian Uromantyx are really great lizzards. Colorful, great personality (almost like a Beardie), vegetarian, They like it a little warmer than Beardies. On the down side there are very few CB avaible locally at a decent price, but you can find them on the WEB if you look. Deer Fern Farms is a good place for CB uro's.
Red Ackie's are nice monitors but have a completely different personality and needs.
My suggestion is Uro's and hit the library for books and the WEB for info.

Theres Sobek who I raised from a 16 inch 2 month old hatchling at 16 inches long to 5ft long at a year old and over 6ft in 2 years.
