Well, number 3 has decided to go ahead an greet the world. A bit smaller than its siblings, weighing in at 22 grams, she left the egg sometime today. She is as perfect as the other two, and still has a nub of the umbilicus attached. No big deal, that will be gone by tomorrow. Anyway, The first two have now spent some time in their new homes (rubbermade shoeboxes in my baby rack) at about 86-87 in the back and 78-80 in the front, and both have taken to their perches and seem to be thriving. One actually tried to bite me a couple of times. Poor little thing couldn't get a hold of any part of my fat finger. I always like it when a new hatchling starts to defend itself...I think it means their healthy...I'd be worried if they didn't. Anyway, I put in a 17 hour day today, so I'm hitting the sack. I'm going to post new pics of all the babies tomorrow. Thanks again to everyone for the comments. Good luck to all this year!
