I just got these guys at this months show. This is the female I will post male next. They were sold to me as Casey Lasik Bloodline Pure Jungle Carpets.I was just curious if any one could tell me good purchase, bad purchase? Are they Lasik and if so why can I not find Jungles on Lasiks site?

I'm pretty sure Casey stopped working with Jungles a few years ago.

As for telling whether or not there is "Lazik-line" blood in your Jungle?? Well that's next to impossible without DNA testing, or with breeding records. You simply can't tell just by looking at the animal. Which, ironically, is the only way to really buy a Jungle, simply because WHO CARES what "line" it is? It doesn't matter. Pick the best-looking specimen, from the best-looking parentage that matches your budget. That's all the matters when buying Jungles.

Yes I did mean Lazik Im not sure why I was putting an s in there.....as far as the dealer I got them from it was J.T.'s Amazon Exotics.Could anyone tell me how reputable they are?
Or has anyone even heard of them?I am also curious as to what size they should be if they are yearlings. These snakes appear to be healthy but are about 2/3 of the size of my striped female yearling.

But they aren't too small. Jungles can grow fast or slow, it won't really affect them. Get them in to small rats and they'll ZOOOOM up in size for you, no joke.

I've never heard of J.T.'s but that is a very nice Jungle. It does look like it could have some Lazik blood in it. I would just be happy that it looks like that and is healthy! You should get an equally-nice mate for it! You are lucky to have that snake!!!

Best of luck man. Here's a pic of a Lazik x Sipperly line Jungle offspring, who herself is now gravid (at 18 months):

You don't find jungles on his site anymore because he doesn't work with them anymore. Casey has had lots of success with some great animals, but he's probably like a lot of snake keepers in that he'll move on to different projects after a while.
