There is a good chance I could be moving to Las Vegas in a few weeks. Are there good areas to herp around Vegas? Any other herpers from LV?
Thanks

Andrew,
Red rock Canyon and Mt.Charleston are 35 miles Northwest of Vegas. I lived in vegas for a year and these two places are awsome.

There are herpers here in Vegas. There is also a herpetology society. I have not done much herping in the Mt Charleston area but there are some good areas south of Boulder City. Red Rock is a National Conservation area. It is a good place to hike and see wildlife but collecting is illegal. There are several places like that. If you want to do any collecting Nevada does require a non-game permit but they are not expensive.
