Thanks again for the insulation tip for the rack - worked like a charm. Temps shot up by 12 degrees on the hot spot in the back. Much appreciated.

It really does work, but on so many levels!! Now you've created a "pocket" of warmth and darkness at the back. You will be infinitely more successful with Ball Pythons in this rack system now, no question. Feeding will be better, breeding will be easier, and maintenance of temps is a CINCH now!

I'm pumped for you man! And best of all, the materials were cheap and easy to obtain! So when you build more racks as your addiction grows, it won't cost you an arm and a leg!!

Cheers my man,

Jeff F.

I'll have to try that myself. I'm in the midst of building a new room, so with it comes more racks. Oh yeah...and more snakes!

Thanks Jeff!

Its the least I could do, seeing as YOU'RE the one who taught me to build the rack in the first place, ha ha!! Without you, I'd still be using the giant wood cages with sliding glass doors!! LOL!

Cheers man. Hope everything is shaping up good this year!

Just curious, I've had a little trouble maintaining constant temps in one of my racks. How did you insulate it?

Thanks,

Shaun
