Sleeping hanging from tail, have u seen this?. or is cham about to pass?

when i got hoem today o noticed she was laying in one of her normal spots,but she had both her front legshanging off the vine, and she didnt look good, late after her light went out, i noticed she was hangin by her tail sleeping maybe? i checked and she was alive, im wondering has anyoen seen there chams do that?

I have heard of chams sleeping upside-down, but not just by their tail...as long as you know she is healthy in every other aspect, then i wouldn't be too concerned.
Wait for another post on this, because i don;t really know if it is a sign of something or not.

but thats what the ambanja that I rescued did right before dieing. only he did not fall off and onto the ground, he died handing by his tail...had to pry it off... very yucky. I wish you the best of luck but it does not sound good...whats was wrong with her? she been healthy, gravid? anything

It would really be nice if posters could give us more info. This one tells us nothing about the species, the age, the husbandry or anything we could use to help. Would people call a doc and say "my kid's not acting right. What's wrong with him?"

But to answer your question: I have a friend whose parsonii used to do that so on very rare occassions it can be normal (or at least, not pathological). But it can also be a very bad sign. With no other info, you have no choice but to get this animal to a vet and let him/her tell you if it's sick or not.
