GENETICS

I appreciate the assistance with the eggs they should be dropping any day now.. I have a few genetic questions
what do you get when you breed a Albino to a Normal All hets?
Blizzard to a Albino? Blizzard to a patternless?? Anyone know where to find "trust worthy" hets? Also, when patternless/leucistics are born do they have patterns until they get bigger? From hatchling how old do they have to be to be breeding size? Any info would be great.

First you need an understanding of genetics:
The traits in question are all recessive so they need to be homozygous for them to show up.

what do you get when you breed a Albino to a Normal All hets?
50% albino 50% het albino assuming both albino and hets are the same line of albino
Blizzard to a Albino?
Double het Blizzard, Albino
Blizzard to a patternless??
Double het blizzard patternless
Anyone know where to find "trust worthy" hets?
Groundgeckofreak.com sells lots of hets and DH's
Also, when patternless/leucistics are born do they have patterns until they get bigger?
Hatchling patternless' have small littles spots that dissapear as they grow
From hatchling how old do they have to be to be breeding size?
it is not age it is weight. The bare minimum is 40 grams but if you breed at that size many people agree that it is unhealthy. Most breeders bread at 60 grams

what do you get when you breed a Albino to a Normal All hets?
All normal appearing hets

Blizzard to a Albino? Blizzard to a patternless??
All normal appearing double hets

Anyone know where to find "trust worthy" hets?
Most reputable breeders like CrestedGecko and GeckoLandUSA have hets available occasionally

Also, when patternless/leucistics are born do they have patterns until they get bigger?
Patternless leos are born with spots that fade as they grow.

From hatchling how old do they have to be to be breeding size?
Size is the key...females should be at least 50g, but 60g is a little safer, the male should be comparative in length, but can weigh a little less as they don't need huge amounts of fat stored up like the females.
