I keep trios in clear plastic shoe boxes or in the 1 gallon Kritter Keepers. For substrate I make a mixture with ground coconut shells, potting soil (without Styrolite balls), sphagnum peat moss, Calcium-carbonate sand, and a little “sprinkling” of cypress mulch, on top. Temperatures are 75-80 F during the day and about 70 to 72 at night. Anything higher than 83 will essentially, kill them. Mist the enclosure (well) first and then feed dusted crickets. Adults seem to prefer insects that are no larger than 5 mm. Mist the enclosure well in the morning and night. Have atleast one curled dead leaf per gecko when housed in multiples and around three for a single animal. Have a few low sticks that are a quarter to a third of an inch in diameter. A few vines of the same size work well. Have cork bark slanted against the wall, because they do alot of showing off of their tails when they stand on top of the bark (they are from rocky areas and cork bark is safer than heavy rocks for them to climb). I do not use water dishes, but some people do. They will generally drink water collected in any upturned leaves and from any plants, live or artificial. If they are happy about their living condidtions they will breed. Don't keep it too moist.

Thank you, that was very helpful!
You would not happen to have the same information about P. bastardi?

How big do they get, compared to i.e Stenodactylus petrii?
Do they climb alot, and thus making a high cage important?
Can the dead leaves be replaced by something else?

I think thats all
