I finally did it! I had been considering a rescue ig for some time now and finally went yesterday and picked her out

She is about 1 1/2 years old and is such a sweetie. She didn't bother hiding or anything and just went about exploring her new cage I had built for her.

She has some "patches" of an awesome looking blue coming in on her body ... they said maybe she is a blue iguana? I don't care either way, because she is exactly what I was looking for personality wise

Well, enough of that.... Here she is

Nice looking iguana, but it kinda looks like a hemipenile bulge at the base of that tail....not so sure its a girl...and beware...when they come into breeding season male or female watch out...I know I have 5 adults here 2 males and 3 females and they can sure get cranky....good luck with her...Lyn

Congratulations, she's a beauty. I commend you for adopting a rescue too. There are way to many unwanted igs out there. Keep us all updated about your bonding with her. Sounds like she has a good little personality too. What is her name?

Haha Trick question..... since her / his sex is up in the air right now I can not decide on one that would fit either sex. I flatly refuse to use the "ole stand by" of Iggy LOL

She has some nice blue coming in and I am wondering if she will get more with age. If so, I am leaning towards sapphire though
