GCS Thermostat/Temperature Controllers

boidsntegus Feb 29, 2004 11:15 AM

Does anyone here have any experience with these GCS controllers? They seem like the perfect package to me. I am building 2 large enclosures. It is marketed as being able to be used for 4 enclosures, but I want to use it to control both the warm and cool sides of both enclosures. Plus it has a built in nightdrop. It is proportional and has plenty of wattage. All for only $260. This almost sounds too good to be true compared to a similarly priced Helix or other popular brand setup. I only worry that the GCS has some bad reputation or something, and I cannot find any GCS references on these forums. Any input is greatly appreciated.

You can't find anything because it is a relatively new product. I have one and I've talked to other people that have them, and we all agreed that it is well worth the money. My only problem with it is when I received mine it did not have very detailed instructions on how to work the functions, but that is easily figured out. But it is a very good investment.
