High Quality Herp Photos Wanted (more)

Mickey_TLK Feb 29, 2004 12:47 PM

Hopefully this isnt against TOS....LOL (I do have an account)

I am opening a specialty herp shop, and would like to decorate the store with as many HIGH QUALITY HERP photos as possible. Any species you have I could use, but theese are the guidlines.

All pics must be in the largest format, highest quality possible, and I perfer shots from cameras with 3.2 or more megapixels.

I want ONLY NATURALISTIC SHOTS AND SHOTS ON BLACK BACKDROPS. No shots with hands, cages, ect. Must be artistic looking shots.

I am NOT WILLING TO PAY for any of the pictures. However I will ask permission for each and every use of any photos. I will also be happy to PRINT AND SEND you a 11 x 17 GLOSSY of any selected prints at MY COST.

Below is an example of what I am looking for.

Thanks in advance

Hey Micky, In my opinion you came on a bit agressivly in that post. Instead of nicely asking for pictures you seemed to Demand them.
What about the photo below, It is a photograph I took of my Male chamaeleo trioceros montium. If you give me your Email I'd be happy to send you the much larger verion (3.2 Mpixels).

I surely wasnt trying to come off rude with the post in anyway.

I just wanted to be as clear as possible about what I was looking for, so as to save anyone responding time asking what I needed. I tend to be a straightforward kinda guy.

As for the pic you attached, while its a great shot, its not really what Im looking for. I just got a great printer yesterday (can do almost 4ft long prints, high quality glossys) and as such Im just looking for uses for it...lol. Id like to matt and frame any photos I enlarge, and as such I really want the best shots possible. I also have a photography background myself, and as such I am picky about pictures. Id love to just get all the pics myself, but honestly I dont have the time, plus Ive always felt people who really like a species, tend to get the best pics of them. As you can see fromt he pics Ive attached, Im a boa guy. As such I have a TON of great boa pics, but my lizard pics are lacking to say the least.

Sorry about the long rant..
