i was wondering how many house geckos can put in to a 10 gal. tank

can some one please post a picture of a house gecko setup please

a lot! Probably 20 (guessing here)

a good setup would include plenty of hiding places. These things hide in rock crevices and shallow caves in the wild. I'd spray the glass in the morning to simulate dew gathering from the night. This will alow them to drink. They lap up a lot of their water this way.

set a regular light up there 12hours day and night. no UVB needed. Make sure they can't get out. They can get out easily if the lid is not secure. That is all I know.

20 geckos in a 10 gal? Absurd! I wouldn't put more than 1.4 in a tank that small. But you're correct about putting in lots of hiding places and misting in the morning.

You are right...20 is kind of rediculously high. After I sit and look at a 10 gallon tank I ponder what in the world was I thinking with that number. Just keep 1 male in there and no more than 5 females...that is what I say. You add more males things can get hairy.
