I know I dont post heremuch, but I have been reading this forum for almost 4 years now, when i got my first leo. Well, i made an attempt at breeding this year, and Gypsy laid her very first egg ever yesterday! (she only laid the one. she was in the lay box for a few days and I took out the egg when i saw it. she stayed in there for another day and she just left it, with no second egg.)
Since its her first egg ever, I am just REALLY hoping its fertile. I have read all over the place not to expect any babies your first year, and that most females wont lay any fertile ones their first time, but at the same time i have read that some people do get babies from a first time female. So I'm hoping at least a couple of her eggs are gonna make a baby! Fingers crossed
