The big switch (crickets to mealies)

lostkauze Feb 29, 2004 04:17 PM

I bought a full grown fat very nice female leo at a show on the 9th of Feb. I got her during her broomation. Now she is warmed up but I havent seen her eat. I got her 10 crickets of various sizes the week i got her, and she ate them. But now, i have 500 mealies, and everyone eats them, but her. I haven't seen her eat the mealies yet, and she refused wax worms. How do I get her to be interested in worms as apposed to crickets? How do I make the big switch?

Do you have Mealworms or Superworms(not giant mealworms)? The reason I ask is because my geckos prefer Superworms as they are more active. You could try not feeding her for a few days and then offering her the worms. If she doesn't take them I guess you will have to continue to feed her crickets. Good luck.
