Pics of my beardie!

Melle Feb 29, 2004 04:25 PM

Hello!
Here are some pics of Pharoah, my two year old beardie. I posted a few of these a long time ago, but then I stopped posting a whole lot of stuff for a while, so I will post em again!

A couple close-ups:

Bathtime pic:

Pharoah meets Jack! This is Jack, my cat I just adopted a few months ago, and here's a pic of his first encounter with him. Jack's like, "What the heck are YOU?"

Thanks for looking!
Oh, and does anyone know what phase he can be considered? I just call him a yellow/lavendar (the lavendar sidebars show up the best when I take him somehwere, like up to work or to the vets.) but I dont know if theres a *technical* term for his coloring. I bought him at a small pet shop when he was a baby. Thanks!

Great close ups! I love those face shots! I don't know much about the morph colors so I'll let the breeders answer that one, but I wanted to comment on your beautiful beardie and great pictures.

he looks just like one of my males and he is a goldXgerman giant cross.

Melle Mar 01, 2004 03:31 PM

Do you guys really think there is german giant in him? He is about 17.5 inches from snout to the end of the tail, and he has weighed a constant 350 grams for the past year. i have definately seen bigger beardies he may look big compared to the cat in the pic, but the cat is actually a pretty small cat, about 11 pounds. German giant is really only bigger ones, right? does it have anything to do with color as well? Thanks for any answers!

arms, traits that are found in GG. They can be any color that has been breed into them or occur in nature. There are gold, reds and whitish ones that are in the wild.

Nice BD. One of mine, Smeagol, looks like a dead ringer for yours except mine has some orange around his earhole. Same yellow and purple sidebars. When I bought him he was labled a Sandfire, but that is kind of a generic term now so who knows what his true lineage is.

Thanks! He actually does have orange around his earhole. the bathtime pic SORTA shows it, but it shows up more on some days than others it seems. but it gets reeeaaaal orange sometimes.
