What is this?

Melle Feb 29, 2004 04:42 PM

Hello,
I just looked in my leo's tank, and this is what i saw in the poop corner. It just this little, milky blob-like thing. Anyone know what it is? I just had one of my females lay an egg for the first time (i posted about it a few posts below), she only had one. the first thing i thought when i looked at it was maybe an underdeveloped second egg, but i don't know. and i dont know what gecko vomit looks like, so i guess it could be that too although i dont know what could have caused it.

The temps are all fine, and i keep three females in a 40 gallon breeder with slate floor tiles as substrate and they all get along. The thing is, i dont exactly know which one of them did the little blob thing though Anyone have any thoughts?

Hi

My first thoughts when I saw it, made me think of the insides of an egg that never really developed.

I had this exact thing happen to me earlier this month. I came to the conclusion that it was a ruptured egg, and it was the outer shell of the egg, because a few days later another blob came out that looked as thought it could be the insides of the egg.

Eggs usually come in pairs. This must have been the second.

could be worse... could be in australia with a 14-16 hour thereabout time zone difference. We have fun with that concept in the chat room on Friday night - have some regulars who attend our Friday night chat Saturday afternoon their time.

I know what you mean, Wyvern! LOL! Sometimes I stumble over something as silly as "Good night!" I say it as I am logging of to go to bed and someone says, "Uh...it's morning here, 'Bella." I hate it when that happens. I don't know WHAT to say! LOL!
