Would it be ok for me to use Potting soil especially suited for cactuses that have perlyte(little white ball looking things) in it?

Definitely NO...they might ingest the perlyte.
Why do you want to use cactus soil? Organic soil would be the best, it doesn't have any perlyte in it or any fertilizers.
