I worked with Steve. Good guy. I tried to get one of his 03's, but he sold them before I could get one. I have one that looks like an 02 LTC Texas Baird.

I have 2 bloodlines of Mexican Bairds on loan from the Hammacks. The one that Steve collected himself in Linares Canyon, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and the bloodline that Alan Kardon produced from Iturbide Canyon, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Did you have a preference from the one you had wanted from Steve? Alan Kardon still has the original founding stock of his at the San Antonio Zoo, but I heard recently he didn't intend to breed them at least at this time.

I really had no preference in which Baird's I got. I would like to bring out more of the bright pinks and oranges that are present in my male. I thought Steve had some TX bairdi. I could always ask him. I have his contact information as well.

You don't by chance know breeding size of males and females do you? My male is about 2.5 feet. As you can tell I would be a first time breeder.

Thanks Jimmy. I see your Texas Bairds are coming along real nice. They should look super in about another year. You have to be patient.
