Does anyone know the care of these snakes? I know kinda what they eat like lizards and frogs. But if that is wrong please correct me. Thanks

You can get them to eat rosy red minnows if throw them in front of the snakes. They won't go into the water after them.

We are talking about Hypsiglena right? I have a captive from the Patagonia Mts, AZ, which is eating medium size fuzzy mice. Normally, they eat lizards like banded geckoes, earless, side-blotched and tree lizards. However, if a nightsnake is large enough to take an adult gecko, or a medium size uta or urosaurus, the snake is large enough to scent over onto baby mice, which is readily accomplished. I have the nightsnake and a female D. P. regalis taking young mice, as well as several lyre snakes.

Good 2-C ole Robert posting again. Long term purveyors of this forum should remember him. RP was the first [to my knowledge] to even try to get such serpents as nights & regalis on pinkies.
Getting the lyres onto mice is not as big a deal.
A big stocky night snake is a very worthwhile specimen in my experience.
