Here is my Sutherland male pastel aprox 845 grams, breeding a 2002 Captive Hatched female. This female is a very special snake, she is my only normal 2002 female up to size.
She has been a rat feeder since I her purchased her as a hatchling, now also off feed and 2265 grams.
I've tried repeatly to get this pair to hook up, but evertime the male did not see interested. I even but him in with another male for some combat and he still did NOTHING.
This evening I placed him in her cage around 7PM. Still it looked like a no-show. No interest, no raising of his tail nothing! So I said screw it, now I am leaving him for atleast 3-days.
Well early this morning around 5:00AM I had to go check and they are finally hooked up. Normally I would be super-excited, but after seeing my male albino breed multiple females multiple times this year and still seems like nothing is happening with any of them.
So I will see what happens, VERY anxious, hoping so much to get some of my first very own babies for the first time EVER this season.
PS I was starting to wonder if this Pastel was really a male! But I guess the Sutherlands would never mess that up.
