your uros cage

I'm building a new cage for my mali uro that is 50"x30"x24" and i was wondering how some of you set up things in your cage (what you use for substrate basking place exc.)? Is there something that uros just love to have in their enclosures?

here is my tank...playground sand, rock for basking spot, he can dig under it because it stands on the smaller rocks which are safely attached to the bottom!
when building a cage be careful not to put rocks or such things on places where Uro can dig under them and fall on him!!!
so attach them with caution!

I have a pile of stacked flagstone which creates multiple caverns. They definitely prefer the ones that they can just squeeze into-not the ones that are twice their height. They seem to feel more secure in a tight spot.---Mike
