Madison WI

Does anyone know when the anti-exotic bill for Madison Wisconsin was passed? Just curious. I read it (which prohibits crocodilians, all venomous snakes, and constrictors over 10 feet)and I think the wording sounds strangely similar to that of PETA such as referring to apes and chimpanzees as "nonhuman primates" and the quote "exotic animals do not adjust well to a captive environment." Just my thoughts.

I believe that we all should be more aware and proactive of such proposals. What happened in Washington? Did no one know of the proposal?

Eric

If I remember correctly it was sometime mid year 2003. You can check with Ed Stone who is very up on ALL reptile happenings legally in the state at wireptileshows@hotmail.com. For some reason however Im thinking it was like last june. You can call Dane County Humane Society. They will also know for sure. I just know personally i got more calls relating to animals of certain sizes then.
