Me too...

Guess "LOL" doesn't mean "Lots Of Lucies" after all...

LOL...

Do not know if this is Gail or Nigel. But what I am saying is when Pete sold his het pieds and pieds in 1997 he was the ONLY game in town. How many people have lucies now? Pete/Ralph/Eric/Vin/Bob/Kev - If I failed to mention a name I am sorry. As of two years ago I thought Pete was the one that had them. They are popping out like rabbits And I am sure some of these breeders have much more then one. I hope this clears up what my LOL was all about.

Only one of us posts as "Renaissance"...

I knew exactly what you meant...

I agree that more than one person has them...not to mention hets and/or possible hets. Don't forget, though, that even if there are 20 in the World, that still isn't a lot.

However many Leucistics do exist, I'm sure there was a time when Pete had that many Piebalds. The only real difference between "one person having all of them" and "all of them being spread between multiple people" is that in the latter case, competition has a consequential effect on pricing. You can't necessarily infer that increased competition will result in lower pricing...it really depends on the personalities and business practices of the folks involved. Only time will tell where this one goes...
