Reintroduction of red adults

mizzy Mar 01, 2004 07:57 PM

Hi,
I have a pair of Argentine adults that have come out of hibernation. A while ago I tried putting them together (prior to hibernation) and they fought. What are my choices? During the previous attempt I put the female in the male's cage. Obviously didnt go well. So now they are active, what can I do prior to reintro?? Thanks.

I would try introducing the male to the females cage so he does not become territorial about it. If there is a problem between them do not feed them in the same enclosure.

Is it possible that these two animals just are not compatible; they "just dont like eachother?"

It is possible, I have 2 females I cannot house together because the older one beats up on the younger one
