One way to easily keep tabs on the environmental damage of President Bush is a web site called Bush Greenwatch. As you know, Bush is considered to be the worst environmental president ever in US history. He recieved an "F" from the League of Conservation Voters - the first time that has ever happened.
But the administration also has one of the most powerful spin machines any pressident has even imagined. He needs this in order to fool people into thinking he's doing something other than destroying the environment. And it works too. Its not at all uncommon to run into people who have been, shall we say, "influenced" by this spin machine?
Anyway, take a look at this site. You can sign up for e-mail alerts to get occasional email notices about particularly damaging Bush activities!

EPA Misleading Public on Superfund
The Bush Administration’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is misleading the public about its commitment to clean up toxic waste sites, according to a report released late last week by U.S. PIRG and the Sierra Club.
"The Bush administration is cleaning up fewer toxic waste sites, underfunding the Superfund program, and forcing taxpayers to pay for more orphan toxic cleanups. EPA, however, has manipulated [the] numbers to tell a different story -- one that is misleading and often false--that the Bush administration is committed to making polluters pay to clean up the nation's worst toxic waste sites," the report states.
