Apparently baby yellow albino bullfrogs look white when underwater and under flourescent lighting. I went to the petstore tonight to get my "white" bullfrog and when the sales guy took him out sure enough he was yellow after all. I was a little disapointed but since I liked the picture I saw of a yellow adult, I still bought him.
I don't have flourescent lighting, so in his new water bowl he looks light yellow...

But out of the water his true color comes out...

Even though he isn't white, I'm still happy with him. I'm calling him a "him" for now, I don't know if you can tell yet if it's a boy or girl? I was told you tell by the ear size but his ear is still small.

I've named him "Prince" for now, can always change that to "Princess" if it does turn out to be a girl. I didn't find out yet how to care for tadpoles (they have albino tadpoles). I'll post pics if I do get one of the tadpoles but for now I'm happy with Prince...
You guys forgot to warn me how hard these guys are to keep hold of! I know you aren't supposed to handle frogs, I don't plan on doing it often, but when I took him out of his container he leapt right out of my hands and was halfway across the room in 3 jumps! Wow can he jump far and fast!!! I had a really hard time catching him and have learned a healthy respect for Bullfrog catching and handling! I'm used to my Whites who just chills out on my hand if I take him out (again, not often). I'll take more pics after he settles in, and as he's growing up.
