Long time since I've been on here!! Need info, but not on BPs.Sry.

OK Well I had a major lifestyle change which means I can't breed my BPs. I have some of them sold, but am keeping 1-2 for pets. I can't breed, but I still have the love for animals and want to keep them. I was looking into another kind of reptile or anphibian, and I am open to comments. I have some aquariums ranging from 5 gallons to 70 gallon longs, which would have to fit the adult size of them/it, they are aquariums so no areaborials. I need to be able to get food easily, and prefer easy maintenance. I was thinking of Leos, but likeI say, just looking into this, not sure if I will do it, but I want to see what choices I have. I was thinking of something that would be able to live in a small group in 50-70 gallon long tank. I am having my dad and brother help me make coustim tops for the tanks with locks and all, so humidity is not an issue. Please give me your thoughts and Ideas. Thanks a bunch! Krystal

I have a leo and they are great! Easy maintenance and fun pets! They can live in groups together too, as long as there aren't two males together in one tank.

How many would u recomend getting if I did? I want to use my 50-70 gallon long tanks, but I don't want too many leos, I just want like 3-4 but would those tanks be too big for a group that small?

As far as I know, that would be okay. Just as long as you have different hides for them (both humid and dry) and can maintain a good temperature. But, you might want to ask over on the leo board. There are many people there with more experience than myself. Good Luck!
