My PacMan Frog Will Not Eat! HELP!!

fletchleo Mar 01, 2004 10:21 PM

I have a 3 inch albino Pac Man Frog. I bought him about a month ago. He ate one pinky the day after I got him, and he hasn't eaten anything since. He has been offered crickets and more pinkies to no avail. He has also started croaking a lot over the past two weeks.
Are these two things related? Is he looking for a girlfriend?
PLEASE help! I don't want him to die!
Thanks-fletchleo

First of all, pinky=bad meal. Don't feed pinkies. They are too high in fat and too low in other nutritional areas. Second of all, he is probably ready to breed. Occasionally they will stop feeding as other things are on their mind. Try nightcrawlers as well. They are a great food source.

Thanks for the advice! Is there anything else large that he can eat, or should I start breeding crickets now?!
Thanks again-fletchleo

Well, hissing cocroaches can also be fed. But as Snakeguy88 said Nightcrawlers, they are also kinda big prey. And fish, I would not try that either. They are also high in fat. So a diet of mainly invertebrates (how do you spell that) is a healthy diet.

Good Luck!
