Which Thermostat is Better Overall?

dominicanthony Mar 02, 2004 09:58 AM

I am starting up a little ball project and am mainly working with a hi-contrast albino male and tons of het. and pos. het females. I am using a rack system set-up and am stuck on which thermostat to use. It is a toss up between the big apple (the one in the little white box with the dial on it or the boaphile (the slender grey one, singular set-up not dual). If anyone out there uses either one of these please let me know how they work. I can deal with a thermostat that is off by a degree here and there consistently but I can't deal with one that has a different amount everyday. Reliability is what it all comes down too!

Thanks for your responses,
Dom

FYI, I've only had it for a couple months, though.
