I want to build Rat breeding racks. I went to freedom breeders.com and saw the price. they are beautiful, but I am not paying 1500.00 for racks.plus I dont have the money anyway .I might have different views if I was selling these rodents but they are just for me reptiles. Can anybody please help me out or hook me up with some good websites on how to build rodent breeding racks. I want to install the water hose system and food systems. I just need a layout or a plan to help me. So thanks for your time in reading.Joe

There is a guy selling pvc rodent racks there. He sells them for $375, or the plans for $25. you can cut pvc with a hacksaw, and it is much cheaper than buying the racks. he also has a drip system and food bins like you are looking for. I have ordered the plans and should be receiving them any day now. I went and priced the pvc and other supplies i could tell he was using by looking at the picture of the racks. I think i can build it for less than $100.
