questions about wood

I'm buidling a large display cage for my monitor soon and I wanted to get some opinions before I started. I'll be building it out of oak so that it has a nice exterior look but I was wondering what I should do on the inside. Should I coat it with a sealer of some sort (somebody suggested to me Enirotex but they said it scratched easily) or should I line the inside of the cage with another substance?

If it was me, I would line the interior with freezer board. This board is plastic about 1/16" thick, comes in sheets of 4'x8' and is easy enough to work with. Liquid nail it in place, caulk the seams and your good to go. I would not call it water proof, but water resistent. It comes in white and almond at home-depot or menards.Goodluck, Clint
