Anti-venomoiders, please keep this in mind

MsTT Mar 02, 2004 02:58 PM

We want our voices to be heard, speaking out against the cruelty of venomoid surgery and in particular against the cruelty of illegal and inhumane garage hack jobs.

Every time you rant and rave on a thread in an insulting manner that violates TOS, your posts will be deleted. Possibly the whole thread will be deleted, including the well reasoned posts which are citing important facts about venomoids that really need to be out there. So the more you yell and insult, the less our voices are heard and respected. Just something to keep in mind while we continue urging people to keep venomous snakes responsibly and humanely without mutilating them.

Yep, I agree. The fastest way to get something pulled is usually to act like children throwing a tantrum instead of acting like adults. lol. Too bad such tantrums also wind up hurting those who are trying to keep a level head as everything usually gets yanked with the tantrums.

well ive only been in this forum for about weeks. but mostly what ive seen is a few people talking about people, in general, doing hack-job procedures in there garage to make venemoids. this is more of a strong opinion on an issue then an attack on a specific person. so stating an opinion, within reason, against the issue of people doing this venomoid stuff shouldnt violate TOS. but like i said, ive only been here a few days and havent done much back reading so if there were some real personal attacks then ya that obviously violates TOS.

I must agree, albiet, I have been guilty of the same in the past and have had posts deleted, but arguing just for the sake of it gets us no where. Imagine how an outsider may view these threads, they may see that we have no common ground. Simply put, some believe that if it you can't understand it, get rid of it, sad but true.

Also, I'd like to see a venomoid forum, just because I'm tired of seeing the only topic being the venomoid debate. It disuades me from visiting this site. I don't own any venomoids.

As for my opinion on oids, if it is professionally done by a legitimate vet, then it is no one elses business but the owner of the snake, be it a private collector, zoo, or dealer, and proof of legitimacy must be on hand upon request.

Thats all, if I got anyones panties in a bunch, please forgive me and refrain from attaching, this includes the moderators.
