Reptile Union in the State of Ga also everywhere

electricbluescat Mar 02, 2004 04:22 PM

anyone feel that we need a union like a lobby to keep up with with reptile laws and also people that want to ban reptiles. I think we do. If something is not done soon we may lose our rights to keep the animals we love.

Wouldn't NAROA or PIJAC perform that function? I just recently joined both, so I'm not entirely sure, but I think that's part of their purpose...

Yes I think it does. but it could nt hurt to have more than 1 or 2. Ga is one of most unfriendly reptile owner states in the US. Lol I wish more people would help me try to change the laws here so we can have native non venomous snakes such as corn snakes and eastern kingsnakes. We can however have native venomous with no permit. we can have native non venomous here but we use them for education and must obtain a permit and document the hows spent educating ppl.
