Ever had a dragon with a dead tail? Any suggestions? Pic inside

I got this girl about three months ago and she had this kink in her tail. As you can see the last portion of her tail is discolored almost like it needs to shed. She has shed 4 times since I got her and her shed always ends right where the discoloration begins. I have soaked her and tried to help it shed each time but the skin there just isn't ready to shed. It stays that dark color all the time, but her tail has grown proportionately with the rest of her body. My main concern is that layers of skin may be building up and choking off the blood flow, but as I said the skin just never loosens in that area. Have any of you had any experience with these "dead" areas on a tail? Any suggestions as to what I can do? I have tried scrubbing it gently with a tooth brush and helping it manually but with no success.

Thanks,
Mike

not a big deal i have a female with the same problem she has had it for years. Dont mess with it and she will be fine if it has a infection thats a different story but hers looks just like ours. In other words shes fine, it will not get better but then again its not bad either.

It can be a problem. If your dragon continues to shed and grow and that section of the tail never sheds and just builds up layer after layer of old skin, it can and will cut off the circulation.
You are doing right giving her warm soaks.... try rubbing the unshed part while she is soaking. Also try rubbing some baby oil on it and work on it a little bit each day. If it still refuses to come off and continues to build up you will need to go to a vet and have it removed. They will slice it and try to peel the old sking away.
