REGURGER SEEMS TO BE DOING FINE....

cv768 Mar 02, 2004 04:50 PM

We force fed her one more head and she pooped before that...which I would think is an excellent sign.

She has alot more strength but is still very skinny. I think we'll try to feed her 2-3 more heads every 5-7 days before moving her up to a full pinkie.

Hopefully the little motley pulls through...someday if she survives I'll post a pic of her...

I would love to see you post again at the end of the week that she is still doing well.

You might try finding a mouse breeder with a big litter of newborns and see if they will sell you some of the tiniest ones. I snag these from my own mice to have in the freezer for baby candoia and children's pythons as well as corns. Sort of sizing up from just the head.

Haven't we warned you about tampering with the structure of a chaotic system?

I know that it can be very stressful hoping and trying to help the little ones make it. I am very glad to hear the good news, and I agree, it sounds like she is on her way. Congrats

Once you get to the whole pinks, you might consider mushing them up between your fingers to break up organs, and then putting slices into the skin. Should make it much easier to digest.

GOOD LUCK!
